Oh Lord The one who controls the five senses
is indeed known as perfect and exalted
Instantaneously this person will go to the abode of the Lord
and will be sitting in the company of the angels

Oh Lord The Guide likes humility and patience
and the tithe is the food of the Lord
Remain within the boundary of religious discipline
by being regular for religious duties
and the Guide speaks spontaneously

Oh Lord The one who entertains the poor guests
This person indeed entertains us
The soul that feeds the poor after recognising him/her
That food reaches us as our sustenance

Oh Lord Our nature is reflected in the poor
and they (the poor) are in the company of the Guide
The one who feeds the poor
after reflecting deeply upon the timeless (eternal)
That food reaches us as our sustenance

tēthi garib jamadoji
garib tē jē kā(n)i nav jānē
parnāri samu(n) na jovē

Oh Lord The Lord loves the tithe observing and life sacrificing ones
and therefore feed the poor
The poor are the ones who know nothing
and they don't look at others' wives with coveteous eyes

Oh Lord The soul that controls the five senses takes our manifestation
But those souls that are negligent about the hereafter
they shall go into utter darkness and oblivion

His name was King Jujeshthann
Because of their noble acts they were the leaders
and they reached the doorstep of Heaven

Oh Lord The Lord cursed the musician (singer) (employed by the Korvas)
so that the entire world may know (the evil intentions)
Talking evil about somebody is so evil (vulgar)
that the sins of the Paandwas were forgiven
(because they were slandered and victimised by the Korvas)

tē māhē pā(n)dav chhutāji
ni(n)dā thaki jivnā pāp utaryā
pāp lidhā tēnē vē(n)chi

Oh Lord Hasnaapuri is a big city
it was there that the Paandwas became free and ruled
Because they were slandered their sins were pardoned
and their acquired sins were sold (were pardoned)

tab jā shāhku(n) pāyāji
sāmi ni(n)dā lokē kidhi
tabjā utaryā pāp

Oh Lord The Lord made them (Korvas) slander the Paandwas
and it was then that they achieved the Lord
They (Korvas) also slandered the Lord
it was then that the sins (of the Paandwas) were forgiven

tabso ni(n)dā kidhiji
nur gusā(n)iku(n) kēnē nav jān

Oh Lord The world saw the opposition against the cow (by the Paandwas)
then they (the multitudes) began slandering them
They did not recognise the light and the remover of darkness
as a result the Paandwas were freed and liberated

jē murakh bhulā vātji
mātā Ku(n)tāji Dhropati kahie

Oh Lord Without recognising (the Lord) there is utter darkness
and it is the foolish who have forgotten the (true) Path
Mata Kunta and Dropadi are one
whose pious deeds are true (well intentioned)
