Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
Ya Ali Madad and Ramadan Mubarak! This post for this auspicious second night of Holy Ramadan has five parts:
Part 1: Teaching of Imam NOOR Mowlana Shah Mustansir bi'l-laah II (a.s.)
"The ablution of the head means to keep oneself obedient to the Imam. The ablution of the hand is swearing allegiance (bay'at dadan) to the Imam of the time. The ablution of the foot is to advance along Imam's way in obedience to him. The ablution of the heart is to keep steady in affection for the Imam. The ablution of the tongue is to keep on continually remembering (dhikr) the Imam. The ablution of the eye is to have the chance of the didar of the Imam of the time."(p.61)
Part 2: Teaching of Pir Sadardin
The following verse of ginan is taken from Pir Sadardin's Sami raajo more manthi na visre ji. It emphasizes the cardinal principle of Ismailism: Constant remembrance of our present and living NOOR Mowlana Hazar Imam.
Eji | Sami raajo more manthi na visre ji To suno suno moman rahiya ho jire bhaiya |
|
O momins | My Lord is never forgotten in my heart, so listen, listen all those who have remained (true) momins, O my dear brothers. |

If you have the time, please follow this link to see the text, the literal translation of the other verses, and audio of this ginan. These verses of supplication soften, heal and purify the soul, and prepare it for enlightenment.
Part 3: Dhikr Section:
Repentance is the mechanism to return to our Creator therefore it is appropriate to use the tasbi "Astaghafirullahi Rabbi Wa Atubu Ilayhi (Verily, I seek the forgiveness of Allah, who is my Lord and Sustainer, and I turn to Him in repentance)" to implement this Divine command. The recitation of this tasbi will lead to gradual purification and the fruition of Noor Mowlana Sultan Muhammad Shah's blessing in which he said that a day will come when you will be able to abstain from committing sins. With this understanding, let us start to recite the Astaghafirullahi Rabbi Wa Atubu Ilayhi tasbi (Verily, I sincere seek the forgiveness of Allah, who is my Lord and Sustainer, and I turn to Him in repentance) with utmost sincerity and humility.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Astaghafirullahi Rabbi Wa Atubu Ilayhi
Verily, I seek the forgiveness of Allah, who is my Lord and Sustainer
and I turn to Him in repentance.
Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil 'alamin.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds!
Part 4: Angelic Salwat
Let us now start presenting a nazrana of angelic salwats to our beloved NOOR Mowlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini Hazar Imam for blessings, guidance and empowerment for the fulfillment of our noble wishes. May our beloved Noor Mowlana Hazar Imam continually keep us on the Right Path. Ameen.
