Transliteration and Literal Translation of Pir Hasan Kabirdin's Anant Akhado

Verses For Day 30

Recited by Shafiq Rawji

Āshāji chhatris karod purā dharmi
Sri Islāmshāh bhētyāji
daso(n)d kāran jiv dolāvyā
tē chālya chovis ghor a(n)dhār
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
363
Oh Lord There were 36 crore true believers
who accepted Sri Islam Shah as the Imam of the Time
But because of the non observance of the tithe,
the faith of the souls was shaken
They were 24 crore such souls who were
condemned to the darkness of ignorance-eternal darkness
Hari You are eternal; ........................
363
Āshāji daso(n)d dēvē sidakē rahēvē
hērān na hoshē soeeji
mārag chhodi so kabhi na jāshē
daso(n)d mul chhē āpanu(n)
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
364
Oh Lord A person who observes the tithe and remains steadfast
(in his duties) will indeed never be in trouble
This person will never abondon the Right Path for any other way
the tithe is the right of the Imam of the time
Hari You are eternal; ........................
364
Āshāji daso(n)d vinā din na jāno
fal sohi na falēji
muar sukā to fal sarvē sukā
sukā dārē dār
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
365
Oh Lord Without the tithe there is no religion at all
and nobody is going to reap the fruits without it
If the roots are dry then all the fruits will be dry
and all the branches will be dry
Hari You are eternal; ........................
365
Āshāji sukā fal so nahi kuchh bhāvē
tēnu(n) modhu(n) fitfit thāyēji
khārā pani sarovar kahie
pitā(n) taras na jāyē
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
366
Oh Lord The dried (raw) fruits are never tasteful
and the face of the person eating them becomes very ugly
The lake water is very salty (although it is abundant)
it will never quench one's thirst no matter how much of it is drunk
Hari You are eternal; ........................
366
Āshāji kupātrē dān khārā jāno
daso(n)d vinā nahi lēvēji
kalarmā(n)hē jēm mēhaj varsē
tēnu(n) dhān na thāyē
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
367
Oh Lord If charity is directed towards a false container-purpose
(any institution other than the Imam's)
The Lord will not accept it as charity
without observance of the tithe
It is like rain falling on an infertile ground and
the charity does not benefit the donor (or the receiver)
Hari You are eternal; ........................
367
Āshāji āl imām nē pir musalē
dāyam daso(n)d dēvēji
tab so pir musalē kahie
jē karē na man motāI
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
368
Oh Lord From progeny of the Imam are the honourable Pirs
they always observe the tithe
That is why the Pir is honoured
and he is the one who is not arrogant
Hari You are eternal; ........................
368
Āshāji pēli āl musalē kahie
jo daso(n)d narku dēvēji
araj ba(n)dagisu(n) daso(n)daj dēvē
dēvē āpohi āp
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
369
Oh Lord The first progeny is regarded as honourable
as it submits the tithe to the Lord
They submit the tithe entirely with supplications and meditations
and they submit spontaneously
Hari You are eternal; ........................
369
Āshāji araj ba(n)dagi kiriyā karē
anē sidaksu(n) daso(n)d dēvēji
tabi satpa(n)ththi moman kilāvē
sohi didāri āp
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
370
Oh Lord Whosoever performs supplications, meditations
and prescribed rituals >and remains steadfast in the practice of tithe
It is only then that this person
can be called a momin on the Right Path
and is indeed the receiver of Your Vision
Hari You are eternal; ........................
370
Āshāji pēli daso(n)d pirē āli
tyā(n)thi muridē āliji
amārā vachan jē murid na mānē
tē jāshē ghor a(n)dhār
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
371
Oh Lord The first tithe was submitted by the Peer himself
and from then on the murids submitted
Whichever murid does not follow our guidance
will go to utter darkness
Hari You are eternal; ........................
371
Āshāji daso(n)d parmānē sāchā chālo
karo kiriā kamāiji
kiriā karo to mithā lāgo
to pāmo ana(n)t mēvā
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
372
Oh Lord Conduct yourselves faithfully according to the principles
implied by the submission of the tithe (i.e. sukreet - good deeds)
and perform the rewarding rituals sincerely
By performing the rituals sincerely you will feel
sweet (imbued with love - ishk)
and as a result you will gain the eternal (timeless) rewards
Hari You are eternal; ........................
372
Āshāji chitmā(n)hē chētinē mannē māro
karo Allahki āshji
din amāro dāem jāno
bijā sarvē khotā
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
373
Oh Lord Having a vigilant consciousness,
control your mind (from worldly illicit desires)
and only cherish the hope and reliance of Allah
Our faith is everliving, have that faith in your mind
all other ways are false
Hari You are eternal; ........................
373
Āshāji jug kartā mā(n)hē ek kalā rachāyā
tismāhē hamku(n) jānoji
bijā jugmā(n)hē Vijēsthan kahie
sobi ham avtār
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
374
Oh Lord During the era of Kerta the Lord created a manifestation
I (Pir Hasan Kabirdin) was that manifestation (as Gur Brahma)
In the Treta Jug the manifestation was called Veejeshthann
even that was my manifestation
Hari You are eternal; ........................
374
Āshāji jug duvāpurmā(n)hē vidarviyās kahie
sobi hamku(n) jānoji
kaljugmā(n)hē hamai jāno
sohi rasul nām
Hari ana(n)t ...................................
375
Oh Lord In the Dwaapur Jug the name of the manifestation of
Gur Brahma was Veedur-vyaas
Even He was our form
In the Kal-jug we are the manifestation of Gur Brahma
and it is the same light of the Messenger (Prophet Muhammed)
Hari You are eternal; ........................
