| Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim | In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful |
| 'Innallaziina yubaa-yi 'uunaka 'innamaa yubaayi 'uunallaah: Yadullaahi fawqa 'aydiihim: faman-nakasa fa-'innamaa yankusu 'alaa nafsih; wa man 'awfaa bimaa 'aahada 'alay-hullaaha fasayu'-tiihi 'ajran 'aziimaa (48:10). | Lo! those who swear allegiance unto thee (Muhammad), swear allegiance only unto Allah. The Hand of Allah is above their hands. So whosoever breaketh his oath, breaketh it only to his soul's hurt; while whosoever keepeth his covenant with Allah, on him will He bestow immense reward (48:10). |
