| Yusufali: | Say: He is God, the One and Only; |
| Pickthall: | Say: He is Allah, the One! |

| Yusufali: | God, the Eternal, Absolute; |
| Pickthall: | Allah, the eternally Besought of all! |

| Yusufali: | He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; |
| Pickthall: | He begetteth not nor was begotten. |
