"Allah would not place a burden on you, but He would purify you and would perfect His grace upon you, that ye may give thanks." — Holy Qur'an 5:6
Holy Quran Verses from Pickthall's Translation
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
101.001 | The Calamity! |
101.002 | What is the Calamity? |
101.003 | Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! |
101.004 | A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths |
101.005 | And the mountains will become as carded wool. |
101.006 | Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), |
101.007 | He will live a pleasant life. |
101.008 | But as for him whose scales are light, |
101.009 | A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, |
101.010 | Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - |
101.011 | Raging Fire. |
Let us pray (Sura 20, Ayat 114) 'Ya Rabbi Zidni Ilma!' ('O Lord! Increase me in knowledge.') and seek spiritual help (ta'yid) to understand our great faith.
