Holy Ramadan Enlightenment Post No. 22 :: The Dā'ī Must Be Truthful

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Ya Ali Madad and Ramadan Mubarak. The motivation for this 30-day project is to increase the intensity of prayers during the month of Holy Ramadan. For this purpose, 30 posts for each auspicious night of Holy Ramadan have been prepared. Each post consists of four parts:

  1. Enlightenment teachings from the Holy Qu'ran;
  2. Excerpt(s) from 'A Code of Conduct—A Treatise of the Etiquette of the Fatimid Ismaili Mission';
  3. A Dhikr tasbi; and
  4. Angelic salwat

Part 1: Enlightenment Teachings from the Holy Qu'ran

Part 2: An excerpt from 'A Code of Conduct—A Treatise of the Etiquette of the Fatimid Ismaili Mission'
In 'al-Risāla al-mūjaza al-kāfiya fī of Ahmad b.Ibrāhīm al-Naysbūrī has written the following gem:

"[§44] A dâ'î must be truthful in what he says. If he is not truthful, how will they accept as true what he says? How will they agree to what he says and rely on it? As God has said: 'Fear God and be among those who speak the truth',63 that is be in the company of those who speak the truth and be followers of the truthful ones who are the imams, may the peace of God be upon them."

63. Qur'an, 9:119.

Part 3: Dhikr Tasbi
The lights of Allah, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s.), NOOR Mawlana Murtaza Ali (a.s.), all the Holy Imams, all the Holy Pirs, Noor Mowlana Hazar Imam who is the Ali of this time, the Holy Qur'an and Holy Ginans are just one Light. Therefore, it is possible to call upon this all-encompassing Light in innumerable ways. In order to clearly demonstrate this concept, let us imagine a mother who has a husband, a few children, extended family and friends. She could be addressed in a number of ways: by her first name, by her last name, by a nick name, or as mummy, mom, ma, aunt, auntie, grandma, etc. However, the love that she has for all her contacts is just one because she is just one reality with multiple names. Similarly, the all-encompassing Light has innumerable names. We could call upon this Light by reciting the 'Ya Allah, Ya Ali, Ya Muhammad' tasbi. Another powerful option is to use the combination of 'Ya Ali' and 'Pir Shah'. We will use the latter combination for today's dhikr:

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Yā Ali, Pir Shāh
O Light of Eternal Ali, O Light of the Holy Pir

Recited by Noorallah Juma

Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil 'alamin.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds!

Part 4: Angelic Salwat
Let us now start presenting a nazrana of angelic salwats to our beloved NOOR Mowlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini Hazar Imam for the fulfillment of our noble wishes. May our beloved Mowla continually keep us on the Right Path. Ameen.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim

Allâhumâ salli alâ Muhammadin wa âle Muhammad:

Recited by Noorallah Juma

May NOOR Mowlana Shah Karim Al-Hussaini Hazar Imam (a.s.) grant peace, prosperity, happiness, barakat, higher spiritual enlightenment, spiritual & luminous tayid (help) and empowerment to you, your family, your Jamat and the worldwide Jamat! Ameen.

Rakh Mowla je Noor te Yaqeen (Certainly, we trust in Mowla's Light only)

Haizinda — Qayampaya
